Walking nude to become part of the art.
Artist Milo Moiré continues her work, following the old school that any art performance should come with a nude being. This time she visited the exhibition “The naked life” in the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster (Germany). Wearing nothing but a baby in her arms she became a naked archetype of nude paintings, thus, merging seamlessly with the exhibition.
According to the artist this direct confrontation with live nude art challenges others to reflect on familiar forms of perception. How close may a form of representation in art approach real life? Milo Moiré’s performance leaves this question within the realm of the museum: “How little abstraction can art tolerate?”

The performance THE NAKED LIFE –“How little abstraction can art tolerate?” took place during the closing of “The naked life” in the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster, on February 22, 2015.
